Starting in
Fall of 2009
(Listowel location only)
Our students will take turns using the first driving simulator in
this area.
Different road and weather conditions are experienced and
practiced before going out and dealing with real traffic.
Students learn to check speed, mirrors, signal and all in a safe
environment. Much less stress when the in-car lessons start.

payment is received.
A fee will be due and payable to the in-vehicle instructor for

In Car
Some of the topics we will discuss:
rules for a G1 & G2 drivers
being a responsible driver
traffic laws
how driving affects insurance rates
road signs, traffic signals, road markings
mirror, signal, blind spot check
braking techniques
following distance – keep back
right-of-way at intersections
rules for right & left turns at traffic lights
watching traffic violations
sharing the road with: bicycles, buses,
farm equipment, buggies
emergency vehicles
train crossings
freeway driving – entering, exiting
driving at night
bad weather
road rage
collision avoidance
fatigue - drugs
driving after drinking alcohol

proceeding through intersections
watching at crosswalks
U-turns
three-point turns
angle parking
parallel parking
highway curves and hills
being passed on a two-lane highway

Students receive a driving evaluation to show where
practice is needed before the G2 road test.

Instructors Car for Road Test –
Fee is $160.00 (includes HST)
– pick-up and drop off at home or school – One-hour refresher
lesson and use of car for the G2 test.
